The Hononegah Kids Wrestling
Club is open to all kids ages 4 to 14. The club was started
to teach young wrestlers
basic technique, team participation, and
self-respect. Wrestling
is a very
individually competitive sport which stimulates physical, mental, and
social growth.
Please remember that each
participant is a representative of the Hononegah Kids Wrestling
Club and must conduct
themselves accordingly. This is especially important when we are at meets.
Parents, volunteers are
always needed, and suggestions are always welcome. Let’s make
this a great year by
everyone getting involved.
Let’s all work together to
make this a great year!!!!!!

WRESTLERS,
YOU are responsible for:
Picking up tournament sign-up forms.
These will be available in a letter rack hanging in the
wrestling room.
Turning in money and signed
permission slips for tournaments
you want to attend.
These must be turned in no
later than one week prior to
that tournament . A lock box
will be set up in the cage with
a slot for envelopes containing
your money and permission
slips.
Please check the tournament
sign-up sheets regularly so that
you are aware of changes or
new additions.
PARENTS,
We meet at Burger King in
Roscoe for away meets. We do this
to make it easier for kids
that need rides, the parents who don’t
know how to get there, and
most importantly to arrive together
as a team. The time we leave
is generally around 6:30am, but this
can vary depending on the
starting time of weigh-ins at the meet.

Wrestling Fan Club is a group of parents, alumni, and coaches
And friends dedicated in supporting the sport of wrestling in the Hononegah school district. This includes High School, Jr. High and Kids Club programs. This group is primarily responsible for heading up fundraisers. Some fundraisers that we have done are Night Golf, Kids Wrestling Tournament, 50/50 raffles, T-Shirt sales, Dunk Tank, and Rent a Wrestler. We are always looking for new ideas and helpers. This group helps fund things for the High School program that the school will not help with. Such as the building of our wrestling room, new mats, Skin protection products, cost of motel rooms for many different tournaments, warm-ups and singlets. The list goes on and on. This group has helped Coach Kaiser make a good program become a great program. In just a few years Hononegah has produced three State Champs, numerous State Qualifiers, and National Freestyle Champs. Please feel free to come and join us anytime.
